Impellity Ltd. announces merger with Isle of Man-based Gateway Trade & Investments

Impellity Ltd., the London-based consultant and management services company, is pleased to announce its acquisition-merger with Gateway Trade & Investments, the Isle of Man-based business development specialists.

Founded in 2006 under the name Want Export Ltd., Impellity has amassed several years’ expertise in international business and product development into new markets, and has successfully assisted many companies to expand overseas.

Gateway Trade & Investments work with clients to raise equity investment through its network of investors, working with start-ups, concept stage companies, and established brands looking to expand their reach.

The merger serves to form a new business growth and consultancy company under the Impellity Isle of Man name, with head offices located in Douglas’ financial district, and a diverse merged portfolio of companies, with sixteen companies under management in the Isle of Man, UK, and across Europe spanning industries as diverse as traditional hospitality, quick-serve food franchises, technology and ticketing, media, and marketing.

Kent Mosbech, CEO of Impellity, said of the merger: “Both Impellity and Gateway Trade & Investment have been working together for many years, and both parties are excited to come together and unite their skills, talent, and experience.

“Growing the Impellity brand has led us to merge with a close associate of ours, and I’m delighted that Gateway Trade & Investments have now become part of the group, enabling us to provide a full-stack streamlined service covering all aspects of business development and scaling.”

Ben Heath, Chief Operating Officer of Gateway Trade & Investments, said: “We couldn’t be happier to merge with a company as revered and in-line with our own ethos of client commitment as Impellity, and we are hoping to take what we have learned from supporting businesses in the Isle of Man to the UK and Europe.

“2020 has been a challenging year for everyone in business, and new ideas and strategies are required to support and stabilise revenue.

“In addition to existing portfolio growth and management, Impellity Isle of Man will be able to offer business growth services and investment sourcing to organisations looking to scale and eventually, successfully exit.

“We’re excited to see the strength of two companies combine and to host a diverse portfolio under one roof.”
